Ogden • Weber State senior quarterback Jordan Adamczyk has left the program, coach Jody Sears said Tuesday.

A native of Canyon Country, Calif, Adamczyk played in four of the Wildcats' first five games this season, including two starts. He was 25-for-54 passing for 209 yards and one touchdown. He also threw an interception.

Adamczyk ended up playing in 13 games in his career at Weber State.

"Jordan has battled a series of knee injuries and he decided it was best for him to have surgery and finish his degree," Sears said. "We thank Jordan for his contributions to Weber State and wish him the best in his future."

Weber State, 1-4 this season, visits Eastern Washington on Saturday.
