A woman remained in critical condition Wednesday, the day after she allegedly drove her car off State Road 39 and into Pineview Reservoir in an apparent suicide attempt.

Weber County Lt. Mark Lowther said a man fishing about 3 miles west of Huntsville called 911 after finding the woman's Chevy S-10 Blazer partially in the water Tuesday afternoon.

Rescue crews found the woman inside. She was not under water, but suffered critical injuries in the crash itself, Lowther said.

Lowther said deputies had earlier received an attempt to locate from Clearfield police about the same woman who was allegedly threatening suicide.
