Costumed kids watch a grizzly bear lick honey off an enclosure window at Hogle Zoo on Saturday during Zooper Hero Day. The children learned about the bear's super sense of smell, clawing and digging power and the fact that it is also a super sleeper. The zoo invited children to dress as their favorite superĀhero and learn about the animals' amazing skills, including night vision, speed, strength and agility. Zoo keepers were on hand to talk about the animals.
