• Indie-rock band U.S. Royalty performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: The Glass Gentlemen, 2:13's. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $8, at 24Tix.

• Alt-rock band Surfer Blood performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Andy Boay, Team Spirit. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.

• Grateful Dead tribute band Dark Star Orchestra performs at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $28, at Smith's Tix.
