Cache County Search and Rescue workers hiked into the remote backcountry late Wednesday morning to rescue at least one person reported hurt in an all-terrain vehicle accident.

A sheriff's dispatcher said a medical helicopter had been requested as of 11 a.m. to help in the effort, which required rescuers to hike into the rugged area near Porcupine Dam.

No further details were immediately available.
