The last time I was hanging out with my friends, we were all in the same room, yet so far apart. Every single one of us was on our cellphones. I miss when I was younger and my friends and I would interact, play, and go on adventures together. I miss when you could talk to someone for more than five minutes and they would actually listen and not be tempted to jump right into Instagram or other social media.

Advancements in technology are beneficial for our minds but not our social interactions. So the next time you are hanging out with your friends, outside walking, or with your family, put your phone away and interact with one another, you might see, or learn, a thing or two.
