State colleges: Utah beats Oregon State in women's volleyball

Corvallis, Ore. • Chelsey Schofield had 11 kills and 12 digs to lead Utah over Oregon State 25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14 in Pac-12 women's volleyball Friday night.

Erin Redd-Brandon smashed 10 kills for the Utes (15-4, 4-3), who have won two straight conference games and play at Oregon at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.

Women's soccer

Stanford 1, Utah 0 • Courtney Verloo scored in the 67th minute to lift the No. 10 Cardinal over the Utes (7-3-5, 3-1-2) in Pac-12 action in Stanford, Calif.

Utah State 3, Colorado State 0 • In Fort Collins, Jayne Robison had a goal and an assist for the Aggies (8-5-2, 4-2-0 Mountain West).
