There's plenty of intrigue heading into Friday's 4A football quarterfinal playoff game between Logan and Olympus high schools.

Undefeated all season, the Logan Grizzlies take on the Olympus Titans without star quarterback Chase Nelson, who won't be allowed to play in the game after he was ejected from a Nov. 1 game against Bountiful for allegedly kicking another player.

The incident and the Utah High School Activities Association's decision not to stray from rules that prohibit players from appealing ejections are controversial.

They make great fodder for sports radio, which is why they're the topic of this week's "TribPreps Radio" program featuring reporter Christopher Kamrani, assistant sports editor Kevin Winters Morriss and correspondent Ben Raskin.

"TribPreps Radio" launched with the start of the high school football season in August, and each week has provided lively discussion and interesting insights about key matchups, individual players and more.

With football playoffs in full swing, there's no better time to tune in as these experts make a few predictions and discuss what to watch for.

Another worthwhile podcast
