A 20-year-old Utah woman accused of kidnapping her child during a supervised visitation and then fleeing to Washington has been arrested.

KUTV reported that the U.S. Marshal's Service arrested Lady Ashley Marks at a home in Spokane. The Marshal's Service announced the arrest Saturday, the television station reported.

Authorities did not immediately disclose the whereabouts of the boy, 15-month-old Giovanni Marks.

Salt Lake County prosecutors had been trying to get authorities in Washington state to arrest Marks since October after she allegedly took her son from a Murray home during the supervised visit Oct. 14.

The toddler's father had been awarded legal custody.

Marks was in the custody of the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, awaiting extradition back to Utah, KUTV reported.
