The letter from Frank Eddings on Nov. 19, "'Do not call' a failure," hit the nail on the head. My phone company blocks a total of 12 numbers only and will not do any more. This past spring I had to buy a caller ID unit that blocks calls. It now has 54 blocked numbers on it and I added another one today.

Come on, Congress, you can fix this. We should not be required to receive calls we do not want. I have caller ID, but that is not the answer. Some of these companies that call and receive a block just use another number that comes in to my phone. While writing this letter I received another call that I have now blocked.

Please, how about a little help?
