Annual Holiday Blessings Boutique and Craft Fair

The Council of Catholic Women's Holiday Blessings Boutique and Craft Fair will be held Nov. 23, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be crafts, food, music, raffles, prizes and gifts.

Savior of the World Musical

The heralded "Savior of the World" musical production will be performed in the Conference Center Theater. The musical features scriptural accounts of the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Nonie N. Sorensen Tribute

A tribute to the music of LDS composer Nonie N. Sorensen will take place in the Assembly Hall. The program titled, "I Went on My Way Rejoicing," will feature a vocal ensemble and soloists singing songs written for the LDS Young Women's Songbook.

Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times Exhibit

"The Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times" includes one of the largest collections of the 2,000-year-old Dead Sea Scrolls. Discovered by a shepherd in 1947, the Scrolls contain the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible. Visit theleonardo.org for information.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. A Good Turn Christmas

The Church History Museum will open a temporary exhibit entitled "A Good Turn Christmas." The exhibit will run Nov. 23, 2013-Jan. 12. This year's theme for the annual Christmas exhibit focuses on the Christ-like act of doing service and relates to the Boy Scout slogan to do a good turn daily. The artwork and artifacts in A Good Turn Christmas portray the birth of Jesus Christ, including several unique creche (nativity) sets from around the world. For more information, call 801-240-4615.

Christmas in Nauvoo

The Education in Zion Gallery at Brigham Young University will host its "Christmas in Nauvoo" family home evenings on three Mondays, Nov. 25, Dec. 2 and 9, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Gallery educators will be in character as Eliza Snow and Wilford Woodruff and will share Christmas-related stories from historic Nauvoo. Thanksgiving Day Service

The Thanksgiving Day service will consist of readings from The Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, followed by time devoted to expressions of gratitude from members of the congregation. The one-hour service includes music appropriate to the occasion.
