Plouffe leads Utah past UNLV

Michelle Plouffe posted her third double-double of the season to lead the University of Utah women's basketball team to 66-59 victory over UNLV on Tuesday in Las Vegas.

Plouffe scored 26 points and grabbed 11 boards to move into fourth place on the Utes' all-time rebounding list. Utah improved to 2-2 with the victory; UNLV fell to 2-3.

BYU 80, Washington State 73 • Lexi Eaton scored 27 points, Kim Beeston added 21 and Jennifer Hamson posted 20 to lead BYU (5-0) to a victory at home over Washington State (3-4). Eaton also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Weber State 81, Air Force 69 • Desiree Ramos scored 20 points to lead the Wildcats (3-2) to a home victory over Air Force (0-4).
