Watch southern Utahns make a winter playground out of snowed-in St. George

St. George was blanketed with a rare and heavy snowstorm over the weekend, but rather than hunker down some southern Utahns decided to hit the streets — and shoot videos.

Those videos show not only the scope of the snowstorm — the area looks more like Salt Lake City than normally balmy Dixie — but also people snowboarding in the street, making snowmen and other general revelry.

One of the more interesting things to see is how the streets themselves — normally the domain of cars but which were unplowed because St. George isn't equipped for such storms — became wintery playgrounds for people.
