Orem firefighters briefly evacuated students and staff from the Orchard Elementary School on Friday after a report of a heavy "electrical burning smell."

Orem police Lt. Craig Martinez said there was a "small electrical fire in the media room," which produced no flames.

There were no injuries reported during the 1 p.m. incident.

Students were evacuated for 20-25 minutes to a nearby junior high school, Martinez said.

The school is located at 1035 North 800 East.
