Herriman's Lucy Biles, who captured the Class 5A state cross-country title in the fall, finished seventh at Saturday's Foot Locker Cross Country national championship meet at Balboa Park in San Diego.

Biles covered the 3.1-mile course in 17 minutes, 43 seconds. Tessa Barrett of Pennsylvania won the girls' race in 17:16.

Sky View's Conner Mantz took seventh in the boys' race, crossing the line in 15:23. Michigan's Grant Fisher won in 15:07.

Alta's Kramer Morton also finished in the top 25, taking 23rd in 15:49.
