Plans for tonight: A Christmas sing-along

• The 29th annual Christmas Carole Sing-Along fills EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. A 30-piece orchestra will perform holiday songs, and Kurt Bestor is the featured performer. Fox 13's Big Budah will emcee, and guests receive a special gift package including a treat (while supplies last). The event starts at 7 p.m.; doors open at 5:30.

• Local a capella faves Voice Male performs its Christmas show at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. The show is sold out.

• The Jerry Joseph Duo, a rock act led by the Jackmormons' frontman, performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Jeff Crosby. Show starts at 8. Tickets are ..., at the venue's website.
