Miami • The Heat erased a Utah Jazz halftime lead, starting the third quarter on a 14-3 run and never looking back.

Utah's Alec Burks had a career night, dropping 31 points and dishing seven assists. Enes Kanter bounced back after a pair of poor showings to have 14 and eight.

But it wasn't enough against LeBron James and the defending champions.

James scored 30 points to go along with nine rebounds and nine assists, despite apparently rolling his ankle at one point. Dwyane Wade had 27 points and five rebounds for the Heat.

Utah's starting backcourt of Gordon Hayward and Trey Burke struggled to score, combining to go 3 of 16 from the floor for 10 points.

The Jazz next play the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
