Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Your 2014 inductees into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame are: Nirvana, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt. Also receiving honors are The E Street Band, the Beatles' manager Brian Epstein and the Rolling Stones' manager Andrew Loog Oldham. The Replacements and N.W.A. didn't make the cut. [Rolling Stone]

• Country-music legend Ray Price, who experimented with rhythm and revolutionized the genre, died Monday at age 87. [Los Angeles Times]
