Trib Talk: Rep. Jim Matheson on choosing not to run

O With a brief post on Facebook, Rep. Jim Matheson shocked both sides of Utah's political aisle by announcing he won't seek re-election to his 4th District house seat next year. The state's lone congressional Democrat, who has served 14 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, left the door open to seeking another political office. On Friday at 12:15 p.m., Matheson joins Jennifer Napier-Pearce to discuss his decision, his track record, his views on public service and his future.
