Utah's Jan. 25 home gymnastics meet against UCLA will be a showdown between the teams expected to be the best in the league after the two were picked Nos. 1 and 2 in the Pac-12 preseason poll.

The Bruins were voted No. 1 for the third straight year with 46 points, while Utah was right behind with 45 points.

UCLA received five first-place votes and the Utes received three.

Stanford was third with 37 points followed by Oregon State (31), Arizona (22), Washington (18), Cal (17) and Arizona State (8).
