Plans for tonight: "The Apartment" or "Bad Santa"?

• The Salt Lake Film Society's "Tower Through Time" series brings Billy Wilder's classic comedy "The Apartment," starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, to the Tower Theater, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $5, at the box office.

• The 2003 dark comedy "Bad Santa" screens at Brewvies Cinema Pub, 677 S. 200 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 10 p.m. Admission is free; must be 21 or older.
