Weber County sheriff's detectives have arrested four suspects in connection with a spree of armed robberies.

Sheriff's Lt. Mark Lowther said Tuesday that three adult males and one juvenile male were nabbed in Kaysville shortly after a 3:07 a.m. holdup at a Maverick store in nearby Marriott-Slaterville City.

The suspects in that robbery were armed with handguns and a knife, and those details — along with others investigators identified but did not release — also linked the foursome to at least two other holdups, in Plain City and Farr West on Dec. 19.

Descriptions of the suspects and their getaway vehicle were included in an early Tuesday morning Attempt to Locate broadcast by the sheriff's office, and a Kaysville police officer soon spotted the vehicle on southbound Interstate 15.

The officer stopped the suspect vehicle shortly thereafter Weber County detectives arrived to take the four into custody, Lowther said.

The men were booked into the Weber County Jail in lieu of $60,000 bail each on suspicion of first-degree felony armed robbery; the juvenile was in the custody of youth corrections officials.
