To all those who oppose gay marriage in Utah, listen up: The times they are a changin', as Bob Dylan once famously sang. And ask yourselves this question: Why do you disapprove of two individuals seeking the happiness that you, as heterosexuals, sought when getting married?

And, more important, why do you care? Gay marriage has absolutely no bearing on your lives and, frankly, is none of your business. Doesn't it make more sense to allow gay couples who love one another to express that devotion through marriage rather than fight against it because of your own prejudices?

Eventually, gay marriage will be the law of the land, so why not celebrate rather than mourn that inevitability?
