'Savior of the World'

"Savior of the World" will be performed in the Conference Center Theater. The musical features scriptural accounts of the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The performances are open to those 8 and older.

Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit

"The Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times" includes one of the largest collections of the 2,000-year-old Dead Sea Scrolls. Discovered by a shepherd in 1947, the scrolls contain the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible.

'A Good Turn Christmas'

The Church History Museum will open a temporary exhibit titled "A Good Turn Christmas," through Jan. 12. This year's theme for the Christmas exhibit focuses on the Christlike act of doing service and relates to the Boy Scout slogan to do a good turn daily. For more information, call 801-240-4615.

St. Vincent dePaul New Year's Eve Party

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church will hold a New Year's Eve Party in the Holy Family Hall. Dinner will be a choice of prime rib or salmon. There will be live music, dancing and child care provided. For reservations call 801-272-9216.

St. Joseph the Worker Parish New Year's Eve Party

St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church will hold a New Year's Eve party. Ring in the church's 50th anniversary with a dance and appetizers. Live and DJ music will be provided. RSVP to the parish office at 801-255-8902.
