A Cedar City bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information about a robber who struck last week.

The robber walked into the Wells Fargo at 797 S. Main Street Jan. 4 about 2:04 p.m., according to Cedar City police. The man handed the teller a note demanding money and received an undisclosed amount of cash. He then fled on foot.

Well Fargo announced the reward Thursday. In a statement, the bank offered "up to a $10,000 reward for original information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of" the robber.

Police believe the same man also may have robbed a Mountain America Credit Union last February.

Police say the robber was a white man in his 60s. He had white hair, work a dark-colored and over-sized coat, a tan hat and blue jeans. He stood between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall.
