Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• The Oscar race took a turn for the weird this weekend, with the Screen Actors Guild giving its ensemble prize (equivalent of Best Picture) to "American Hustle," while the Producers Guild of America split its Best Picture prize between "12 Years a Slave" and "Gravity." • NBC's next live musical production will be of "Peter Pan." [Vulture].

• The Kevin Hart/Ice Cube comedy "Ride Along" dominated the weekend box-office. [Box Office Mojo]
