Those of you who are participating in Utah Lit, The Salt Lake Tribune's new online book club, know the planned discussion about January's selection "The Ordinary Truth," is just more than a week away.

I had an opportunity last week to talk with author Jana Richman about the book, and thought I'd offer a peek at a videotaped portion of that interview.

Among other topics, Richman offers what she'd like to hear discussed about the book and you may be surprised.

Richman will be on the panel that will discuss her novel at 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 31 in a Trib Talk live video chat moderated by Jennifer Napier-Pearce.

If you're unable to participate in the live conversation by posting questions and comments on Twitter or Google+ using the #tribtalk hashtag, an archive version will be available to watch at your leisure at sltrib.com. We also plan to make an audio podcast available.

Meanwhile, there's some discussion underway on the Utah Lit Facebook page and on Twitter @utahlit.

Happy reading!
