ULTA Beauty on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. will open a new store in Orem, the Bolingbrook, Ill.-based chain's sixth in Utah.

The 10,000-square-foot store is at 303 E. University Parkway.

Grand-opening events that continue through Feb. 9 include free makeovers and consultations with experts in cosmetics, skin care and hairstyling, according to a news release.

In addition, the first 100 customers to visit the store each day will receive gift certificates valued from $5 to $100 along with free skin or hair service at the store's 950-square-foot salon, the release said.

ULTA sells 20,000 beauty products and 350 fragrances.

In addition to Orem, the publicly traded company operates stores in Midvale, Sandy, West Jordan, Farmington and St. George.
