Tuesday on TV: Learn the real story of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

American Experience (8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) looks at the legend of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and separates fact from fiction.

We're familiar with the characters Paul Newman and Robert Redford played in the 1969 movie. But the real Robert Leroy Parker and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh were fascinating in their own right.
