Some disabled Utahns would be able to vote online under a bill on its way to Gov. Gary Herbert for his signature.
The House voted 61-1 Tuesday to pass SB245 and sent it to the governor.
Rep. Jon Cox, R-Ephraim, the House sponsor of the bill, noted that the state already allows some members of the military serving abroad to vote via Internet in a pilot project. He said the bill simply extends that privilege to the disabled to make it easier for them to vote.
