Salt Lake City • The third and final game of the University of Utah baseball team's series against Oregon State played out same as the first two, with the Beavers displaying far superior hitting and pitching on their way to an 8-0 victory.
Fresh off his no-hitter against Northern Illinois on March 8, Oregon State's Jace Fry was dominant once again as the Utes did not get their first hit until there were two out into the fourth inning. The only Utah player who seemed to have Fry figured out was Braden Anderson, who accounted for two of the Utes' three hits.
"I just watched him every batter before me and just saw that he was going fastballs and he was missing up [in the zone]," said Anderson. "I didn't try to do too much, just wanted to put it in play and I was able to have a little bit of success today."
