Women at Brigham Young University donated hair Wednesday to disadvantaged children who suffer from medical-related hair loss.

Stylists from Renaissance Academie cut and styled donors' hair on location. Donated hair must be ten inches long and can be colored, but not bleached.

The Center for Service and Learning at BYU teamed up with Renaissance Academie for the biannual Locks of Love event, held at the Wilkinson Student Center Terrace. At the last event, 34 volunteers donated over thirty-three feet of hair, the center said in a release.
