Letter: BASE jumping suit should open into body bag on impact

I would like to throw out a challenge to the Outdoor Retailers and businesses that design outdoor gear.

Please design a suit for BASE jumpers that transforms into a body bag upon impact ("Park rangers recover BASE jumper's body at Zion," Tribune, March 25).

Perhaps this will reduce the horror experienced by Park Service crews and search-and-rescue teams tasked with collecting the remains from this selfish "sport."
