Weber State's Berry picked for Reese's All-Star Game

Ogden • Weber State's Davion Berry has been selected to play in the Reese's College All-Star Game on Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The game will be played as part of the festivities surrounding the Final Four.

Berry is one of 21 seniors who have been selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches to participate in the game.

The West team will be coaches by Stanford's Johnny Dawkins. The East will be coached by Maryland's Mark Turgeon.

Berry is only the second player from a Big Sky Conference school to participate in the six-year-old game. He was the league's regular-season and conference tournament MVP while leading the Wildcats to a 19-12 record and their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2007.

Berry averaged 19.2 points per game. He scored at least 10 points in 29 of Weber State's 31 games. After a two-year career, the Oakland, Calif., product finished 15th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,160 points.
