Bingham football coach Dave Peck preaches to his players that they are a family. That maxim never has been so true, as the Miners are rallying around one of their own.
Riley Culley, a senior offensive lineman who played a large role in the Miners' undefeated run to the Class 5A state title, recently found out he has a form of bone cancer and began an aggressive chemotherapy plan.
And with Culley's medical bills expected to pile up around $100,000 even with insurance the Miners have come up with a way to ease the financial burden on his family. They will hold a charity clothing drive May 10, with all proceeds going to Culley.
