Utahn Madilyn Paige lost her battle round in Monday's episode of "The Voice," but she's not out of the competition.

The Provo teenager went up against fellow contestant Bria Kelly; the two sang the Pretenders' "I'll Stand By You." And the judges weren't particularly excited about either performance.

"I'm not saying it's bad, but I definitely don't think anybody stood out," Shelton said.

Kelly and Paige were both on Usher's team, so it was his decision to make. And he chose Kelly.

But Shelton exercised his option to "steal" Paige and add her to his team.

"I believe in you as an artist," Shelton said, switching gears. "Now we've just got to make a performer out of you and I think we can do it."

Not surprisingly, Paige was overjoyed.

"I was this close to going home, but Blake saw something in me," Paige said, "and I'm so grateful to him."
