Ogden • Weber State has signed two junior college players, coach Randy Rahe announced Friday.

Chris Golden is a 6-foot-2 guard guard from Otero Junior (Colo.) College. Jaelyn Johnson-Coston is a 6-foot-6 forward from Monroe (N.Y.) College.

Both will play for the Wildcats next season and have two years of eligibility remaining.

"We're very excited about these players joining our program," Rahe said. "They not only fit what we need on the court, but they are also both terrific fits for our program because of their high character and the type of students they are."

Last season, Golden averaged 20.4 points and shot 35 percent from the three-point line at Otero. Before junior college, he attended Lutheran High School in Milwaukee.

Johnson-Coston averaged 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds last season at Monroe. He is from the Bronx.
