A gradual weather warm-up will continue Wednesday, as temperatures are expected to inch higher and higher through the week before reaching over 80 degrees by the weekend.

In northern Utah, the National Weather Service predicts several sunny days are on the way. The high temperature is expected to reach 59 degrees on Wednesday, 67 degrees by Thursday, and 76 degrees on Friday before reaching 81 degrees on Saturday.

However, in the western two-thirds of the state, the weather service advised that gusty winds could still blow Wednesday, but likely will not continue into Thursday.

In Cedar City, the high temperature on Wednesday is expected to reach 59 degrees, before warming up to 66 degrees on Thursday, 73 degrees on Friday, and 79 degrees on Saturday.

St. George will be significantly warmer, with a high temperature predicted of 75 degrees on Wednesday, 80 degrees by Thursday, and 88 degrees on Friday before reaching 93 degrees on Saturday.
