Plans for the weekend: Moosh & Twist come to rap

• Rap duo OCD: Moosh & Twist performs tonight at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Jared Evan, Better Taste Bureau. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.

• Legendary metal band Slayer performs tonight at Saltair, 12408 W. Saltair Drive, Magna. Opening acts: Suicidal Tendencies, Exodus. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $33, at Smith's Tix.

• Indie folk/rock band The Cave Singers performs tonight at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: The North Valley. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.



• Utah Opera's production of Mozart's "The Abduction From the Seraglio" debuts Saturday at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. (The show repeats Monday, Wednesday and next Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m.) Tickets available at ArtTix.

• Rap supergroup Living Legends performs Saturday at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, at Smith's Tix.

• American stringband act Pert Near Sandstone performs Saturday at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12, at the venue's website.

• Psychedelic/drone/experimental rock band The Warlocks performs Sunday at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Super 78!, Pest Rulz, Show starts at 8. Tickets are $12, available at 24Tix.
