A 34-year-old Salt Lake City man was killed Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Wendover.

Skid marks indicate that Abraham Majok might have fallen asleep, drifted off the side of the highway, overcorrected, went across all lanes and crashed on the other side, according to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Jalaine Hawkes.

A passerby saw the car about 6 a.m. Saturday and called for help. The time of the crash is unknown; Majok, who suffered an apparent head injury, was already dead and the engine was cold when he was found, Hawkes said.

He was wearing his seat belt, according to UHP.
