Last month in this space, The Cricket reported on Megan Moore, Salt Lake City fashion blogger, being chosen to take part in Allure magazine's "Beauty Blogger of the Year" competition.

Moore, writer of The Beauty Snoop, and nine other finalists have been subjected to a series of beauty challenges, with celebrity judges and Allure editors evaluating the results — and online voters eliminating contestants, one by one.

This week, the final four are performing their final challenge — and Moore is one of them.

The last challenge involves having the contestants copy the look from an Allure cover — and Moore chose to reproduce January Jones' sultry look.

"Everyone needs to rock a fake mole now and then, right?," wrote Moore, a married mother of two who owns a Salt Lake City salon, Moore Hair Design.

Fans can vote on the challenge through Friday.

The winner will be flown to New York, to be photographed and interviewed for a feature in Allure's October issue.
