In response to Mel Morris's letter ("Tired of being lied to," May 13), I would like to say that from Karl Rove to the lowliest elected Republican, they all fully understand the need to once again visit Benghazi. The sole purpose is to attempt to discredit the next president of the United States, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

If Mr. Morris is concerned with presidential lies, he should be reminded of "Weapons of Mass Destruction." That story supported the loss of thousands of lives and billions of U.S. dollars.
