BYU's Jeff Barker pitched a complete game Thursday in Portland, Ore., leading the Cougars to an 11-1 victory over the Portland Pilots.

Barker (6-5) scattered eight hits while striking out six.

Brennon Lund and Dillon Robinson each had two hits and two RBIs for BYU (20-31, 10-15 West Coast Conference).

Cougar catcher Jarrett Jarvis hit a two-out double down the left-field line to score Kelton Caldwell for a 1-0 lead in the second inning.

Men's golf

In Auburn, Ala., BYU's Justin Keiley was tied for 14th place after the first round of the NCAA Auburn Regional, helping put the Cougars in eighth place in the team standings.

Keiley shot a 1-over 73 at the Auburn University Club, while Cole Ogden was tied for 20th place at 2-over-par.

Louisville's Robin Sciot-Siegrist led the individual leaderboard at 3-under 69. Auburn led the team standings at 1-under 287.

BYU scored 299 as a team.
