Cooler temperatures and more rain are on the way following the warm weekend.

Residents along the Wasatch Front can expect a high close to 80 degrees Sunday. Then, temperatures along the Wasatch Mountains will cool down Monday, with highs near 69 degrees. Come Tuesday, storm clouds start rolling in and a chance for rain or thunderstorms will persist through Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City.

Meanwhile, meteorologists expect the area around St. George to stay dry all week, with high temperatures in the 80s and upper 70s. The fair weather follows a forecasted Sunday high of 93 degrees.
