The Utah Jazz are expected to interview Clippers assistant Alvin Gentry for their head coaching vacancy, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.
The Jazz and general manager Dennis Lindsey have been deliberate in their search for Tyrone Corbin's replacement. And Gentry, who's had head coaching stints in Miami, Detroit, Los Angeles and Phoenix, will be the second name the Jazz have reportedly met with this offseason. The team also received permission to meet with Bulls assistant Adrian Griffin last week.
As a head coach, Gentry has compiled a record of 335-370 over 12 seasons. He was fired by the Suns during the 2012-13 season after a 13-28 start.
