If you haven't yet had an opportunity to watch Salt Lake Tribune editorial cartoonist Pat Bagley at work as the May artist in residence at The Leonardo, now is the time.

Bagley, who solicited reader input on which notable Utahns he should include in the wall-size mural he's creating at the museum's Lab @ Leo, will be hard at work Thursday and Friday afternoons trying to finish the mural in time for a Saturday night unveiling and party.

As he works on the mural, Bagley, a finalist for this year's Pulitzer Prize, will take time to discuss his work and answer questions.

Also on display at The Leonardo, 209 E. 500 South, Salt Lake City, are dozens of Bagley cartoons drawn through the years. In addition, the cartoonist has drawn some signature characters on the museum windows.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
