Throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a baseball game is a tradition that goes hand-in-hand with America's pastime, a chance for dignitaries and diplomats to show off their arm.

Such was the case when rapper 50 Cent took a shot at hurling from the New York Mets' mound earlier this week with a now-famous first pitch that gave new meaning to "just a bit outside."

His pitch was so bad that it's now been named as the "worst first pitch of all-time" by the Washington Post, besting that of pop star Carly Rae Jepsen, who embarrassed herself and the Tampa Bay Rays last year with this effort.

Those that bested "50" included a cat, fellow rapper Snoop Dogg and a couple of U.S. Presidents, though George W. Bush's was clearly superior to Barack Obama's.

As for those that share his infamous company, there's Kim Kardashian, Baba Booey and a guy I think we can all agree should have stuck to basketball.
