Salt Lake City police have identified Kori D. Eaton, 50, as the man who died in a motorcycle crash Friday.

About 1:40 p.m. that day, Eaton was riding his motorcycle south on 900 West when an eastbound mini-van, on 1700 South, allegedly hit him at the intersection, according to police.

Investigators suspected Friday that the van ran the red light.
