Unified police want the public's help identifying an armed and dangerous robber.

The suspect held up a 7-Eleven at 911 E. 3300 South in Millcreek on Tuesday night. The police received the call about the robbery about 10:44 p.m., and learned that the suspect came in and pulled a handgun from his waist, according to a news release.

The suspect, who was wearing a red jacket pulled over his head to mask part of his face, demanded money from the clerk, who complied. With no one hurt, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, the release adds.

The police have released the suspect's photo hoping that someone knows who he is, or saw him as he was fled. He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the release.

The male is described as 6-feet-tall, and was seen wearing the red jacket, black pants (with the right pant leg pulled up), black shoes and black socks. Police are not sure how old he is and said he had dark skin.

Anyone with information can call the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9816.
