The letter ("Sodomy is still an abomination," June 17) illustrates a conflict between human values and human rights. I've never seen, met nor known God, but I've have seen, met and know gay couples who display the same love and commitment that I have for my wonderful wife.
As such, I'd be hard pressed to justify why they should be denied the same rights because someone doesn't think it's right.
